Q: "I am currently taking Progesterone Triturate, directions are to take ½ hour before bedtime. However, it doesn't seem to dissolve very well because when I wake up in the morning, some of it is still under my tongue. I just swallow the remaining piece in my mouth because I don't want to waste it. Is that ok? Do you have any tips on how to make it dissolve faster?

A: To help dissolve the triturate faster, mesh it up with your front teeth so it's almost like a paste, then place under tongue again. Continue rolling tongue over tablet until it dissolved. A couple rules to live by when taking Progesterone Triturate:

• DO NOT lay down with tablet in mouth. Sit up to prevent swallowing tablet secretions.
• Swallowing the tablet or secretions will NOT be as effective, dissolving tablet under the tongue goes directly to the bloodstream to manage symptoms quickly.
